Iceland ring road with a camper - the trip that ruined other holidays for us
Ten days, one camper van, two adults and a seven year old. We saw waterfalls, black sand beaches and a glacier lagoon, and the swimming pools in every tiny town were the surprise highlight. The wind is no joke - we lost a door once and learned to park facing into it.
💡 Travel Tips
- •Book the Blue Lagoon before you fly - slots sell out days ahead
- •Stock up at a Bonus supermarket, restaurants are very expensive
- •Bring a proper rain shell, a cheap poncho will not survive the wind
