Grand Prismatic Spring

Yellowstone National Park, United States

About

The largest hot spring in the United States, ringed in bands of orange, green and deep blue.

A 370-foot-wide thermal pool whose colours come from heat-loving bacteria around the rim. The boardwalk gives a close view, but the best view is from the Fairy Falls overlook trail a short drive south.
